Stage 8

Moorland and valley walking from Keld across the Dales toward Arkengarthdale and Reeth. The terrain eases slightly in distance but still rolls through sheep country and drystone walls.

Reeth is a village green surrounded by pubs and guesthouses - one of the more welcoming Dales stops. Good food and a sense that the halfway point of the crossing is behind you.
