Rosthwaite to Grasmere

Shorter but still hilly walking from Borrowdale over into the Grasmere valley. The distance is modest compared with neighbouring stages, but the ups and downs through Lakeland fells still ask for steady legs.
Grasmere is one of the prettiest stops on the whole route - Wordsworth country, gingerbread, and plenty of accommodation. A popular place for a rest day if the weather has been rough.
